I will dominate 'serious fighter' Jake Paul - Anthony Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

Anthony Joshua prepares to battle the American YouTuber in an eight-bout fight which will be shown live on the streaming platform.

British boxer Joshua said he will "dominate completely" Jake Paul and "break" the American as the two fighters confronted each other to build hype for next month's boxing match.

Former two time unified boxing king Anthony Joshua meets YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, on paper, a mammoth disparity - at Miami Kaseya Center on December 19th.

Boxer's Mentality

"I'm going to injure his face and hurt his body. My goal is to show I'm superior," the British boxer, 35 years old, said.

"I'll stamp all over him. That's the boxer's mindset.

"I'm going to seriously aim to hurt him. That's what I want to do."

Civil Exchange

Despite those words, a calm Joshua and social media star Paul - typically recognized for his theatrics - shared friendly words and maintained decorum with each other.

Paul instead attacked former Joshua rival Francis Ngannou and described him as "ridiculous" after the Cameroonian turned down a fight offer.

Taking Aim at Tyson Fury

Joshua, in the meantime, targeted British rival Tyson Fury - and declined a £1m bet 'The Gypsy King' states he will put on a Paul victory.

"[Paul] is better than Tyson Fury - he's actually sitting here," Joshua commented.

"I give him credit for that."

Serious Opponent

In spite of saying he intends to punish Paul, Joshua declined to talk badly about his opponent's pugilistic talent.

"Jake Paul is a serious fighter," he remarked.

Jake Paul's Background

Jake Paul - who first rose to fame on the Disney Channel - has mostly fought MMA fighters or declining opponents since entering professional boxing.

He was defeated by British fighter Tommy Fury in last year.

Financial Success

However, the novice continues to be one of the sport's biggest money-making draws, regularly earning substantial earnings.

Forecast and Belief

The 28-year-old predicted a stoppage in rounds four or five and asserted he would prevent the much-anticipated Joshua–Fury fight, which is allegedly in the works for two years from now.

"It's going to be my match with Fury next year," Jake Paul stated.

Physical Difference

As both boxers participated in the customary stare-down, with their height and weight contrast clearly visible, it emphasized just how unlikely this complete situation is - and how amazing it is that the bout is actually going ahead.
